A small town on the top of a cliff-promontory overlooking the pristine waters of the Adriatic Sea.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>For those who love the sea, Peschici is a wonderful resort town with beautiful beaches such as that of Jalillo, the Marina di Peschici, the Beach of San Nicola and the Beach of Zaiana. But there is so much more to discover like a wide range of distractions that goes from craftsmanship and souvenir shops to monuments and ancient buildings such as The Abbey of Saint Mary of Kalena or The Mother Church of St. Elia.<\/p>\n<p>For those who enjoy a fine meal, there are a series of traditional wooden structures suspended over the sea called <em>Trabucchi<\/em>, that were once used by fisherman but now house delightful small restaurants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Peschici is one of the must-see places in Gargano.
