We kindly ask you to use internet for strictly basic needs. Please avoid downloading films and\/or music so as not to run out of the gigabyte bundle available (you can contact vodafone to purchase additional bundle at your own expense)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rubbish<\/b><\/u><\/i><\/span><\/span>: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The rubbish collection days are listed on a notice on the cork notice board in the hall. Please follow the instructions of the local refuse company: the night before or the morning between 6 and 8, sacks must be left outside the entrance gate.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Water:<\/b><\/u><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The ancient gargano underground cistern \u2013 completely restructured \u2013 collects enough rainwater to satisfy domestic needs. When required, the cistern is filled by a local supplier with spring water. <\/span><\/span>We kindly ask you to use it wisely to avoid waste<\/b><\/span><\/span>. We thank you in advance for your understanding.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Safe:<\/b><\/u><\/i><\/span><\/span> the safe, opened by digiting the password followed by the hash sign (#), is changed when new guests arrive. It will be given to you upon arrival.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Floor:<\/b><\/u><\/i><\/span><\/span> do not wash floors with bleach or alcohol. Their resin coating will be damaged. Use \u201criocasamia\u201d diluted in water.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Outdoor lights:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Market<\/b><\/u><\/i><\/span><\/span>: every day, except sundays, in downtown vico, the open-air market is held, offering local produce (fruit and vegetables, cheeses, burrata and caciocavallo, biscuits etc). In the same area a warehouse hosts the fish market and fresh produce). The produce is excellent, fresh and cheap.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Supermarket<\/b><\/u><\/i><\/span><\/span>:<\/b><\/span><\/span> the nearest supermarket is callled \u201c<\/span><\/span>md\u201d, <\/b><\/span><\/span>located not very far away. Leaving the house, going up via fontanella, at the crossroad with via della resistenza, turn right, go along the road for a few metres and you will immediately see the supermarket on your left. In vico, however, there are other supermarkets.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Pharmacy<\/b><\/u><\/i><\/span><\/span>:<\/b><\/span><\/span> the nearest is in corso umberto i, nr.45 tel: 0884-991030. Corso umberto is the main street of the city where the municipality and the municipal library are also located.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Baia di calenella :<\/b><\/u><\/i><\/span><\/span> it is the beach nearest the house. (about 5 km). You only need to follow the road from contrada fontanella down to the seaside, among olive groves and the mediterranean maquis.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of this road you will meet the coastline road, at the stop sign, turn left and take the first road on the right, when it ends you will reach the beach, both free as well as equipped. We also inform you that the \u201clido azzurro\u201d offers ample parking included in the price for a beach umbrella and chaise longues, which is about 14 euros. (bookings at tel:340\/9387104). In the most crowded days, booking is preferable.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We advise you to wait for the sun to set before coming back in. It<\/span><\/span> is a magical moment which is waited for and photographed.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
